Photography & Social Media Consent Procedure

Capalaba Piranhas Amateur Swimming Club follows the below procedure to ensure respectful and safe use of images:

1.Purposeful Use: Images are used to celebrate achievements, promote events, and build club spirit.

2.Secure Platforms: Only official club-managed platforms are used (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, club website).

3.No Tagging of Minors: Children will not be tagged or identified by full name.

4.Respecting Consent: Only children with signed consent forms will be included in shared media.

5.Opt-Out Respect: If consent is withheld, the club will take all reasonable steps to exclude the child from photos/videos.

6.Review & Revocation: Consent can be reviewed or revoked at any time by contacting the Club Committee.

7.Storage & Access: Images are stored securely and only accessible to authorised club personnel.

8.Event Notices: Where photography is planned (e.g. meets, presentations), signage will be displayed.Thank you for helping us celebrate our swimmers while keeping their safety and privacy front and centre.
